Tabgrab for Mac
Your sites and your apps, in one launcher
The Mac app does what a website cannot: it knows which apps are on your Mac, opens them without a browser prompt, and comes up with one shortcut. Websites still open in your browser.

Questions
Good to know
Is Tabgrab a new browser?
No. Tabgrab is a launcher. Sites open in Chrome, Safari, Edge or whichever browser you use, exactly as they do now. Apps open as themselves.
Why does my Mac warn me the first time I open it?
Tabgrab is not yet notarized by Apple, so macOS cannot check it for you and stops it the first time. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to Tabgrab, then confirm. You only do this once.
What does it cost, and what does it need?
It is free. The download is about 121 MB and needs macOS 13 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later). Intel Macs are not supported. The app shows your grabs from tabgrab.dev, so it needs an internet connection, and most improvements reach it without a new download.
How do apps open from a grab?
In the Mac app, the list shows the apps installed on your Mac, popular ones first, and any of them can be a tab. A click opens the app directly. On the website you pick from popular apps or give an app’s link. Your browser asks before it opens the app, and it cannot check whether the app is installed, so if it is not, nothing happens.
Can I keep using Tabgrab in the browser?
Yes. The website and the Mac app share your account, so the same grabs are in both. A change in one shows up in the other when you come back to it.
Is there a Windows app?
Not yet, it is coming soon. Until then, Tabgrab works in Edge, Chrome and any other browser on Windows.
How do I remove it?
Quit Tabgrab, then drag it from Applications to the Bin. Your grabs stay in your account.
